Antique lace trim

Three types of lace trim used for an antique Normandy lace doilie. A patchwork of different techniques including cutwork on both sides, with buttonhole stitches around the openings, supported by bars across the width. A large scale rose design fills the lace netting, with floral needlepoint wedges and Irish crochet in the centerpiece.
